1. Introduction
This Client Platform User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs access to and use of Murzo Group’s secure client platforms, portals, and digital collaboration systems (“Client Platform”).
By accessing or using the Client Platform, the user (“User”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
If the User does not agree, access must not be requested or used.
This Agreement applies in addition to Murzo Group’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Data Protection Statement.
2. Purpose of the Client Platform
The Client Platform is provided to facilitate:
- Project updates and progress reporting
- Secure exchange of business-to-client communications
- Delivery of notes, fixes, documentation, and non-public materials
- Controlled collaboration during active projects
The platform is not intended for the storage or transmission of personal, sensitive, or high-risk data.
3. Eligibility & Authorised Use
Access to the Client Platform is granted solely to:
- Authorised client representatives
- Approved contractors or partners
- Individuals expressly permitted by Murzo Group
Users must:
- Use the platform only for its intended business purpose
- Keep login credentials confidential
- Ensure all information uploaded is lawful and appropriate
Account sharing, credential reuse, or delegated access without permission is strictly prohibited.
4. Security First Principle
Security is Murzo Group’s highest operational priority.
Users acknowledge and accept that:
- The Client Platform operates within a high-security environment
- Access may be monitored, logged, and audited for security purposes
- Security controls may change at any time without notice
Murzo Group reserves the right to enforce strict security measures, including access suspension, to protect systems, data, and infrastructure.
5. Prohibited Use
Users must not:
- Upload personal, sensitive, or confidential data unrelated to the project
- Upload information that could be harmful if exposed
- Attempt to bypass security controls
- Use the platform for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes
- Introduce malware, exploits, or unauthorised software
- Attempt data scraping, surveillance, or system probing
Murzo Group may remove content or restrict access without notice where misuse is suspected.
6. Data Responsibility & User Acknowledgement
Users are solely responsible for the data they upload.
Murzo Group explicitly advises:
- Do not upload personal data that could affect careers, wellbeing, or reputation if exposed
- Do not upload financial, medical, identity, or classified information
- Treat the platform as a controlled business workspace, not a secure archive
Murzo Group shall not be liable for consequences arising from inappropriate data uploads.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Project-related data may be retained for up to five (5) years following project completion.
Upon completion, Murzo Group may request client instruction regarding early deletion or data handover.
Data may be delivered via secure digital or physical media upon request.
After the retention period, all data is permanently deleted or securely destroyed.
Retention practices align with Murzo Group’s Data Protection Statement.
8. Data Breaches & Security Incidents
Murzo Group maintains robust security controls and dedicates internal resources to system protection.
However, Users acknowledge that:
- No digital system can be guaranteed completely secure
- Murzo Group is not liable for breaches caused by advanced attacks, ransomware, or force majeure
- Murzo Group does not accept responsibility for losses arising from such incidents
Where legally required, Murzo Group will notify affected parties in accordance with applicable law.
9. International Use & Local Law Compliance
The Client Platform may be accessed globally.
Users accessing from outside the UK acknowledge that:
- They must comply with their own national laws and regulations
- This includes internet, cybersecurity, data, and export-control laws
- Murzo Group applies UK law as its governing standard
- Users from jurisdictions with restrictive digital laws (including but not limited to China, Russia, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian regions) are solely responsible for compliance with local regulations.
10. Termination & Suspension of Access
Murzo Group reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where:
- Misuse is identified
- Security risks are suspected
- Multiple logins or unusual activity are detected
- Foul play or malicious intent is suspected
- Legal or regulatory obligations require action
Access may be suspended without notice pending investigation.
Reinstatement is at Murzo Group’s sole discretion following administrative review.
Murzo Group also reserves the right to:
- Block or ban IP addresses
- Deny access to individuals or collectives suspected of criminal activity
- Refuse access in the interest of security, even without proven wrongdoing
11. Intellectual Property
All materials, designs, documentation, and content made available on the Client Platform remain the exclusive intellectual property of Murzo Group unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Users are granted a limited, non-transferable right to view materials solely for project purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Murzo Group shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or reputational loss
- Murzo Group is not responsible for data loss caused by external attacks or user actions
- Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where such limitation is unlawful.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Amendments
Murzo Group reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time.
Updated versions will be made available on Murzo Group platforms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
