- Physical products, systems, and components
- Packaging, materials, and consumables
- Equipment, tools, and data-bearing devices

3. Circular Design Principles
Murzo Group adopts a principles-based approach to circular design, recognising that not all projects or contexts allow full circular implementation.
Where appropriate and proportionate, Murzo Group seeks to consider:

- Preference for durable materials and construction
- Avoidance of unnecessary planned obsolescence
- Design decisions that support extended useful life
3.2 Design for Repair & Maintenance
- Consideration of accessibility and serviceability
- Modular or replaceable components where feasible
- Avoidance of irreversible assembly where not required
3.3 Design for Reuse & Adaptability
- Components or systems capable of repurposing
- Adaptable designs that reduce future replacement needs
3.4 Design for End-of-Life Consideration
- Awareness of disassembly, recycling, or recovery options

Hazardous or specialist waste is handled through approved channels only.
7. Equipment, Prototypes & End-of-Life Handling
Murzo Group applies controlled handling to:
- Prototypes and test units
- Obsolete or surplus equipment
- Damaged or decommissioned assets
End-of-life handling may include reuse or repurposing, secure destruction, and recycling or recovery via authorised providers.
All handling aligns with Murzo Group’s Asset Protection, Data Security, and Information Classification policies.
8. Supply Chain & Third Parties
Where appropriate, Murzo Group may encourage suppliers to support waste reduction, prefer partners who demonstrate responsible material practices, and apply disposal or return requirements contractually.
Murzo Group is not responsible for independent waste practices of third parties beyond contractual or legal obligations.
9. Alignment with Sustainability Frameworks
Murzo Group’s circular design approach is informed by recognised sustainability principles and frameworks, including circular economy principles, responsible design methodologies, and international sustainability objectives promoted by the United Nations.

10. Governance & Responsibility
Responsibility for implementing this policy rests with senior management (oversight), design and technical leads (application), and employees and contractors (compliance).
Application of circular design principles is discretionary and risk-based.
11. Limitations & Legal Position
This policy does not guarantee environmental outcomes, create contractual obligations, override safety or legal requirements, or require circular methods in all cases.
Murzo Group retains full discretion over design, material, and disposal decisions.
12. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Murzo Group may periodically review design practices, waste handling procedures, and improvement opportunities.
Reviews are internal and proportionate; Murzo Group does not commit to public reporting.
13. Review & Updates
